ART THAT MAKES YOU SMILE
Since I was a little girl I loved that what I drew made people smile. I don't feel the need to make people think or feel or question. As long as it makes you happy to look at something that I made, that is enough.
Painting has been my profession for about 20 years now and I have made and sold hundreds and hundreds of paintings. Among the many projects I have participated in is Mullet Bay Restaurant on Saint Simons Island, Sliders Seaside Grill on Fernandina Beach, as well as The Southern Tip Restaurant and The Bird House. My paintings grace the walls of many dozens of island homes here on Amelia Island, at Saint Simons Island, and on Sea Island. I have been represented by up to nine galleries in Florida and Georgia. My work has been shown in Six one woman shows at The Waterwheel Gallery and numerous group gallery shows. And now I have my studio in my home in Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach where you will always find dozens of original paintings, whimsically painted furniture, and art cards, matted prints, posters, tee shirts and other art gifts as well as a pot of hot coffee. The note cards can be found in specialty gift shops in many coastal towns in Florida and are available wholesale to the trade.
